چکیده

The objectives of this study were to examine how recycle cup waste efficiently and effectively determine if can be converted into liquid, solid, gas value-added products by slow pyrolysis. characteristics potential utilizations the pyrolysis investigated. included effects temperature, heating rate, different feedstocks. yield oil derived from increased 42% at 400°C 47% 600°C, while char decreased 26% approximately 20% 600°C. Acetic acid levoglucosan identified as main components oil. obtained 500°C was physically activated 900°C for 3 h with CO2. adsorption capacity investigated model compounds, such methyl orange, methylene blue, ibuprofen, acetaminophen. results showed that similar commercial carbon produced peat. higher value stream calculated 19.59 MJ/Nm3. Characterisation of products from pyrolysis of waste sludges

The pyrolysis of waste sludges was investigated using thermogravimetry/mass spectrometry (TG/MS) and a fixed-bed reactor. Two types of sludge were used, namely mixed sludge and oil sludge. In TGA/MS measurements, two degradation steps were observed. Degradation of organic structures, in sludge took place in the first step, while inorganic materials in sludge were mainly decomposed in a second s...

Energy and Useful Products from Waste Using Pyrolysis: A State-of-the-Art Review

Waste to energy is an answer to the growing demand for fossil fuels. Pyrolysis plays an important role in waste to energy technologies. The product obtained from pyrolysis depends on various physical parameters that influence the reaction mechanism. Pyrolysis reactions can be classified onto flash, fast and slow pyrolysis depending on temperature and heating rate. This paper discusses the effec...

Enzymatic Production of Glucose from Waste Paper

Municipal wastes have become a severe problem in developed and developing countries during the last century, paper being the main constituent. Not all of the waste paper can be recycled, and therefore alternative procedures for the use of the remaining material should be pursued. The aim of the present work was the application of cellulases for waste paper treatment and the subsequent glucose p...

Pyrolysis of waste tyres: a review.

Approximately 1.5 billion tyres are produced each year which will eventually enter the waste stream representing a major potential waste and environmental problem. However, there is growing interest in pyrolysis as a technology to treat tyres to produce valuable oil, char and gas products. The most common reactors used are fixed-bed (batch), screw kiln, rotary kiln, vacuum and fluidised-bed. Th...
